The ECOSOPHYBIO® range offers brushes manufactured with organic and bio-based materials derived from rice. The brush handles are composed of the following: - 91% waste material from rice manufacturing (collected during the threshing phase) - 9% biodegradable, organic and recycled adhesive component The adhesive component is produced by introducing an organic component in the production process. This component is selected by industrial production waste. As the handle is made of natural materials, that makes it fully biodegradable. The synthetic filaments are obtained from recyclable materials coming from the production processes of different sectors. Then the manufacturing process turns those materials into an optimal filament, perfect for cosmetic use and infinitely recyclable. The ferrule is manufactured with recycled aluminum. These brushes have a minimal Carbon Footprint throughout their whole Life Cycle, starting from raw materials and ending with the disposal. The manufacturing process is entirely performed with 100% renewable energy. Ecosophybio is an eco-product: organic materials and a virtuous production cycle.

The handle is fully manufactured with organic material, derived from natural material waste: RICE HULLS and CORNSTARCH. The durability features of the material are easily comparable to traditional plastic, while being fully biodegradable. Recycled aluminium ferrule deriving from waste materials and easily recyclable. Handle 100% biodegradable. Substituting plastic components (pretoleum-based) with natural or organic components, derived from manufacturing waste of other production sectors. Using the waste material from other production sectors allows to drastically reduce the use of plastic-based raw materials, reducing production costs and CO2 emissions. The manufacturing process offers new life to those waste materials, while optimising organic waste management and reducing environmental impact. Significant environmental benefits are to be found throughout the whole cycle of production, usage and disposal.
